About Us

Changamoto Youth Development Organization (C.Y.D.O) is a Non-Government Organization founded in January 2011 with registration number 21NGO/0004747 registered on 8^th July, 2011 and Tax Identification Number (TIN) 118-511-379 to operate in the United Republic of Tanzania.

 C.Y.D.O was founded so as to join hands to fight climate change, empower the youths/young adult through facilitation and implementation of supporting projects, social services projects, care projects, capacity building projects, advocacy projects, discussion forums, linkage projects as well as training and education projects in order to alleviate poverty, provide hope and empower communities to attain sustainable development.

Our focus is to have energetic children who will be fit mentally and physically so as to increase the future manpower of the nation as well as whole world to have skilled and energetic individuals.  

From the notion that the youth is the engine of change of any society towards sustainable development and at the same time the group of children we have now is the future youth group of tomorrow which will be responsible for the change of the world that we expect in the years to come.

 Our Goals : 

1. To support the youth in Tanzania for Training, planning and understanding of their needs and persuade them to engage in environmental conservation skills.
2. Being a sign among the agents of Youth Work (NGO’s) in Tanzania inspire them with the African way of living
3. To promote socio-economic and cultural development grassroot or local community level
4. To promote social justice by recommending policies and programs which narrow gap between the rich and poor.
5. To establish and promote poverty alleviation economic and social organization, economic and social organization, association, joint projects at National, Regional, District and local community levels among youth.
6. To carry out research and studies on youth poverty related issues
7. To pay special attention to poverty alleviation programs in favor of disadvantaged groups such as Youth, Women, Widow, Children, Orphans, Elderly, People living with HIV Aids.

8.To organize meetings, seminars, workshops, exhibition, rallies, cultural show, study tours, exchanging programmers and fund-raising activities.
